Grant guidelines are available now for the New Jersey’s Cultural Trust's FY27 grant program, Institutional and Financial Stabilization Grants for Arts Organizations (IFS Arts). The IFS Arts program addresses the financial and institutional challenges that threaten the stability of nonprofit arts organizations, helping them build greater operational capacity to manage and advance their work. The New Jersey State Council on the Arts is collaborating with the Cultural Trust to administer the FY27 grant program.

The FY27 opportunity is open only to nonprofit organizations with a primary arts-focused mission. Arts organizations of all sizes and geographic scopes are eligible to apply. There is no match required.

APPLY FOR QUALIFICATION ONLINE BY JUNE 8: In order to apply for an IFS Arts grant, an organization must first be designated qualified by the Cultural Trust. Any arts organization that is not currently qualified, or whose qualification status will expire before January 2027, must submit an online qualification application. Applications for qualification must be submitted no later than June 8, 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon). The guidelines and link to the online qualification application are available on the Cultural Trust’s website, along with a list of currently qualified organizations.

FY27 IFS Arts grant applications will open in SAGE on June 10, 2026 and are due on July 30, 2026 at 12 p.m. (noon).
