Are you a performing artist and novice teacher looking to share the joy of your art form with others? Apply for the Teaching Artist Certificate program!
Program Highlights:
- Four-week, hybrid program held at NJPAC and Rutgers-Newark campus to build your teaching foundation
- Curriculum includes justice-oriented pedagogy, lesson planning and business practices
- Facilitated by faculty from Rutgers–Newark’s Urban Education department, NJPAC teaching artists and nationally-recognized experts in the field, including author and teaching artist Eric Booth
- Includes 30 hours of field work
Applications are open through March 27, 2026.
Fee: $1,500 - Apply by February 13, 2026, to be eligible for an early bird discounted program fee of $1,200.
