MediaMKRS, a workforce development program that educates and empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds to succeed in the media industry through hands-on training from industry professionals, is set to launch our IATSE Entertainment Industry Hair Stylist Training in New Jersey. This training prepares Licensed Cosmetologists and Barbers for successful careers in the Hair Department for theater, film, and television productions.

We are currently looking for volunteer hair models that will allow our trainees to demonstrate their skills of period hairstyling, braiding, and wig preparation on a variety of hair textures. Hair models do not need to have modeling experience. Selected volunteers will be given a stipend of $75 to $150.
