Healing-Centered Engagement through the Arts Training
NJ Youth-Serving Registration FALL 2025

Arts Ed Newark is happy to present a virtual workshop series addressing Healing-Centered Engagement and the Arts. The series will take place virtually on the following dates:

Thursday, November 6th 8:30-10:30am;
Friday, November 7th 8:30-10:30am;
Thursday, November 13th 8:30-10:30am; and
Thursday, November 20th 8:30-11am.

This four-part series will be led by a social worker and arts specialists who will guide discussion about how trauma is defined and impacts our youth and ourselves. You will learn how arts strategies can promote resilience and create safer youth spaces.

*Professional development credits are available for educators who attend the entire four-part series.

This training series carries a value of $250 per participant, but through grant support it is presented free to any Newark-youth serving educator, parent and/or staff member. Registration is prioritized for those working with Newark youth. For anyone outside of those parameters, you are still welcome: at a pay-what-you-can rate, which will additionally earn you partnership to Arts Ed Newark (2026 partner year).
