WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Projects may include:
- Arts-based approaches to mental, emotional, or spiritual wellness
- Community healing, storytelling, or intergenerational work
- Movement-based or somatic practices
- Visual, literary, or performing arts centered on self-expression
- Work addressing grief, trauma, stress, or isolation
- Public art or creative activations that promote joy and belonging
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Newark-based:
- Artists
- Collectives
- Nonprofits
- Schools and community groups
Priority for projects serving youth, elders, and underserved communities.
KEY DETAILS
- Grant Amount: Up to $5,000
- Deadline Extended: May 4th, 2026 by 11:59 pm
- Programming Period: Aug 1, 2026 – Mar 30, 2027
