Arts and Education/Arts Learning



The Newark Art Council Arts Education initiative is designed for school administrator, school leadership teams, classroom teachers, artists, and community leaders who play an active role in the design and implementation of educational policy within local schools. The Artists-in-Residency Program, developed in conjunction with NPS, will provide 14-weeks of comprehensive, interdisciplinary arts instruction in music, dance, drama, and the visual arts as part of a mandate to improve Core Curriculum instruction.
