What is the 20 for 12 campaign?
20 for 12 is your opportunity to make a big impact on our community by making a small, painless donation supporting the arts. Your gift--much less than the cost of your daily Cup of Joe--can impact the lives of the most vulnerable in our community: our youth.

Most importantly, it allows us to continue to support artists, arts organizations, and arts education in Newark schools and communities without interruption.

What will the 20 for 12 donations go toward?
For starters, NAC Arts Education partnerships for our students and youth as well as initiatives like ArtStart, our signature re-granting program that has funded over 100 programs to Newark artists and arts organizations. ArtStart has helped to stimulate arts and cultural activity in our city's neighborhoods and local schools while providing direct funding to individual artists at the same time.


Why 20 for 12?
Although most organizations like and appreciate large donations, they are typically a one time commitment and don't involve the donor as part of the organization's ongoing mission. 20 for 12 asks you to contribute monthly and engages you by keeping the spirit of our mission alive in your hearts but not felt in your pocket.


Let's Get Technical.
So here's how it breaks down. $20 from you per month for 12 months. That's a total of $240 for the year if you want to get specific. Not a big hit for you, but a definite life-changer for our MOST vulnerable. Your gift of just $20 a month will help fund another innovative project like the International Dreamers' Mural (pictured below), Identity Blueprint, and L.I.G.H.T. (Living in Gratitude/Having Testimony).



Your gift will help reinforce our commitment to developing the next generation of artists.


What Happens Now?
The button below (and at the top of this page) takes you to our website where you can Click and Pledge your recurring gift of just $20 a month for the next 12 months. Or if you prefer, you can simply give a one-time gift. It's your choice. Want to give by check? No problem! Mail your contribution to 17 Academy Street, Suite 1104 in Newark, NJ 07102 c/o 20 for 12.

If you choose to give monthly, your gift will be processed automatically and you will receive an update via e-mail. Whether you choose to give monthly or just once, you will have complete control over your giving. You can monitor your gifts, adjust the amounts, and update your contact info as you see fit!
