Natasha Wozniak

Banglo Rukh cast copper, 5" x 5.5" x 11"

Metal is the focus of Natasha's career. For the last ten years, she has used metals to create sculpture and jewelry. She has found it to be a challenging medium, worthy of the time that the technical mastery requires. Her skills have been developed as she helped produce silver Judaica as well as jewelry by well-known designers in New York. The most important influence on her work has been her collaboration, as a Fulbright scholar, with the traditional artisans of Nepal. She produced a series of sculptures using traditional casting techniques, and the artistic heritage of this region remains on of her main inspirations. She is currently working on one-of-a-kind scuylptures as well as her own line of jewelry, all of which have roots in the ancient traditions of Asian art.
