Artist Bio
Mr. Markman is an artist and educator. Mr. Markman is a graduate of the High School of Music And Art. He holds a BFA from The School Of Visual Arts and a M.S. from The College of Mount of Saint Vincent. Mr. Markman’s artwork has been on display in galleries and restaurants throughout the United States. His work has been showcased at the N.Y.C. Parks Department Gallery, The Jersey City Mayors Office Gallery ,The Savacou and Simmons Galleries as well as Mobay and Amy Ruth Restaurants in NYC.

Mr. Markman is the author and illustrator of The Path published by A and B Books. Mr. Markman’s illustrations have been published in various periodicals such as The Nation, New York Newsday and The Jersey City Journal. Mr. Markman has lectured and taught at the Urban League, City College, Hudson Community College, The Brooklyn and Metropolitan Museums and The Jersey Arts High School Program.
