Kathleen Heron, Orange, New Jersey...Collages are strange birds. I go into a bathroom and there's this toilet paper wrapped in "PLAID." I must take it. Or a torn embroidered thriftshop landscape becomes a window into a 1950's teenager's boudoir. I turn it into art. |
