Born in Lima Peru. Ramiro immigrates to the United States in 1984. Got a BA in Graphic Arts and Illustration at Parsons School of Design University of New York City, in 1991.

Today, he works as Art Director for two hispanic publications in Pennsylvania, as Editor of InformARTE, an Art publication, and also as Curator for Hands Help Hands Foundation.

His painting reflects feelings that reveals his origins, not just as Hispanic-American, but as a human being. Commonly he takes historical and present day elements to transfer them into an abstract environment to create a personal world.
