NAC: Newark Artists Directory: John Masi

John S. Masi has spent more than 30 years capturing everyday life in his unique and innovative photographs. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, and a graduate of The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, he is locally recognized for his work. He has had his photography featured in the exhibit, “Newark, A Day in the City”, sponsored by Kodak. John, a published photographer has also had solo exhibits at various venues throughout New York and New Jersey. In addition, he has numerous photographs housed in corporate and private collections. Currently, you can view John’s work at the Aspen East Health Club in Montclair, and Vintage Alley in Verona, the photos in these exhibits are inspired by the beauty of everyday life.

John has shared his expertise and love of photography through private lessons and teaching at The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, Felician College and the Montclair Adult School.
