Mazza¹s small figurative oil paintings combine rich color and luscious handling of paint with imagery that appears both sensuous and painful. She received her M.F.A. from Rutgers University¹s Mason Gross School of the Arts, and has exhibited at various venues throughout New York and New Jersey. Her work appeared recently in the exhibition "The Feminine Mystique" at the Jersey City Museum and she was Artist in Residence to the Newark Museum in January 2008.
