Arts and Culture in Education Program Guide


The Newark Arts and Culture in Education Program Guide is a listing of organizations who provide arts and education services to youths in the city of Newark. Each organization is listed in alphabetical order, and contains pertinent pro- grammatic information such as mission statement, applica- tion processes, scholarship opportunities and types of ser- vices provided.

All of the organizations listed in the program guide have ad- dresses, telephone numbers, web sites and contact person(s). The purpose of the program guide is to underscore all of the in-depth opportunities and arts activities these organizations provide Newark youths and to supply the district and com- munity with a comprehensive list of resources and services that enrich the lives of youths through the arts.

This program guide can be used to make referrals, locate arts education programs/residencies, identify organizations to conduct field trips. Uses of the program guide includes: making referrals, locating arts education programs, identify- ing organizations to conduct field trips.

The information in the Program Guide is subject to change. The NAC will update the Program Guide on a yearly basis on the NAC web site.
